Founded by two practicing mental health therapists, BLOOM was created to improve the overall well-being of children ages 7 through 17 in Prince George's County. Through a series of workshops and training, we aspire to bring awareness to the importance of emotional, psychological, spiritual, and physical health.
Our mission is to empower and inspire black and indigenous youth of color to embrace their unique identities, build self-confidence, and develop leadership skills through educational and cultural experiences, mentorship, and community service. We strive to create a safe and inclusive space where children and adolescents can explore their heritage, amplify their voices, and make a positive impact in their communities.
