Talecia Izlar LCPC

Co Founder, Talecia Izlar is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and a Board Approved Supervisor, I specialize in trauma therapy and couples therapy. With over 10 years of experience in the field of mental health, I have worked with clients of all ages, backgrounds, and walks of life, helping them overcome the effects of trauma and build healthy, fulfilling relationships.

My approach to trauma therapy is rooted in a deep understanding of the complex ways in which trauma can impact the mind and body. I utilize evidence-based techniques to help clients process and heal from their traumatic experiences. I believe in creating a safe and supportive environment in which clients can explore their feelings and work towards a sense of empowerment and resilience.

As a couples therapist, I am dedicated to helping couples build strong, healthy, and fulfilling relationships. I understand that relationships can be challenging, and I work collaboratively with couples to identify areas of conflict and develop effective communication and conflict resolution skills. Whether couples are struggling with issues related to intimacy, trust, or communication, I am here to provide the guidance and support they need to work through their challenges and build a strong foundation for their future together. My ultimate goal as a therapist is to help my clients achieve greater self-awareness, personal growth, and overall well-being. I am committed to providing compassionate, non-judgmental care to all of my clients, and I am honored to play a role in their journey towards healing and growth.

Kimberly Walker, LCSW-C, LICSW- CCTP-II

As a Co-Founder, Kimberly Walker is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-C, LICSW) with a specialty in children and teens; I am dedicated to helping young people overcome challenges and thrive in all aspects of their lives. With over 13 years of experience in the field of mental health, I have worked with children and adolescents struggling with a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral problems, self esteem, motivation, identity, and more.

My approach to therapy is warm, compassionate, and developmentally appropriate. I understand that our youth have unique needs and experiences, and I work collaboratively with each individual and their families to develop a treatment plan that is tailored to their specific needs and goals. I utilize eclectic evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Play Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) to help young clients build resilience, develop coping skills, increase self esteem, and improve their overall well-being.

I believe that therapy is a powerful tool for helping young people navigate the challenges of adolescence and build a strong foundation for their future. Whether your child is struggling with a specific issue or simply seeking support and guidance, I am here to help them achieve their goals and reach their full potential.
