Meet Adalia Dominique, a compassionate Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor with a passion for helping individuals overcome life's challenges and achieve lasting personal growth. With four years of experience in the mental health field, Adalia specializes in anxiety and stress management, depression, interpersonal relationships, self-esteem and identity development, life transitions, and more.
Adalia earned her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, where she received extensive training in evidence-based therapeutic techniques. She’s dedicated to creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings, gain insights into their behaviors, and develop the coping strategies they need to thrive.
Using a client-centered approach, Adalia tailors each therapy session to meet the unique needs and goals of the individual. She integrates a variety of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based techniques, humanistic therapy, narrative therapy, solution-focused therapy, and psychodynamic therapy, to empower clients and help them lead more fulfilling, balanced lives.
Adalia is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Counseling Association (ACA), the National Council of Negro Women (NCNW), the Association of Black Psychologists, Inc. (ABPsi), and the National Society of Leadership and Success.
